Mehmet Ali Agca, the Turkish man who attempted to kill pope John Paul II in 1981, shows a picture of Italian girl Emanuela Orlandi who vanished when walking through central Rome in June 1983 during his press conference in Istanbul, on March 29, 2010. Mehmet Ali Agca, was released from prison in the Turkish capital Ankara, nearly 30 years after the assassination attempt on St. Peter’s Square.
