People hold flowers and love “Utoeya” and “Oslove” signs as thousands of people massed outside Oslo’s City Hall on July 25, 2011 for a flower-carrying vigil in memory of the 76 victims of last week’s twin attacks. Norwegian television showed images of similar gatherings taking place in other cities across the country after a call for people to come and show solidarity with those killed in the July 22 bombing and mass shootings.
