Emmy Awards 2017, le candidature

Sale l’attesa per la cerimonia di consegna degli Emmy Awards 2017, gli Oscar del piccolo schermo assegnati ogni anno dall’Academy of Television Arts & Sciences e che si svolgerà stanotte a Los Angeles.

La 69esima edizione dei premi vede anche per la prima volta la presenza dell’Italia che concorre con The Young pope di Paolo Sorrentino: anche se si tratta di due candidature”minori” con il miglior production design (Ludovica Ferrario) e la migliore fotografia (Luca Bigazzi), per l’Italia resta una bella soddisfazione concorrere con il meglio della tv internazionale che premia categorie principali come serie drammatiche, serie comedy, miniserie e tv movie, migliore attore e attrice, protagonisti e non. La cerimonia di premiazione sarà presentata da Stephen Colbert e si terrà presso il Microsoft Theater di Los Angeles e sarà trasmessa da Rai 4. 

Quest’anno manca Il Trono di Spade visto che la settima stagione deve partire, ma a fare il pienone delle candidature è Westworld che conquista 22 candidature, seguito da Stranger Things e FEUD: Bette and Joan e Veep.
