Confessionale

CALTANISSETTA, ITALY – APRIL 8: A priest listens to confession during a ceremony where the bishop will attend the rite of the washing of the feet in the cathedral before the procession of the “Vare” or “Misteri” April 8, 2004 in Caltanissetta, Sicily. The floats hold statues constructed from wood, plaster, and papermache representing religious scenes. The ?Vare? are made by various tradesmen of the town who get together according to their category, and in the various parts of the city, decorate the floats with flowers. At sunset they are taken in front of the cathedral and arranged in order to start a procession. (Photo by Marco Di Lauro/Getty Images)
